The Hyeseung Lynda Hong Scholarship at Columbia Law School was created in 1998 through the generosity of friends, family and classmates, to honor the memory of Lynda Hyeseung Hong, Columbia Law School Class of 1998.
A third-year student at the time of her death, Ms. Hong was to become an associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore after graduation. Her law school career was marked with enthusiastic participation in a variety of student activities. Notably, in her second year, Ms. Hong served as co-chair for the Asian-Pacific American Law Students Association (APALSA).
The Hyeseung Lynda Hong Scholarship is awarded annually to students, preferably women of Asian descent, who possesses intellectual vigor and a genuine love for the law. Please join us in celebrating the life of an admired and respected friend and colleague, known for her integrity and thoughtfulness, by giving a gift to the scholarship in her name at Columbia Law School.
